Energy efficiency is super important is trying to save money on a home in the long run. My wife and I like that barndominiums are energy efficient and have a flexible interior space. We want to buy a couple of acres and build a barndominium on it.

    Hi y’all,
I like the Barndominium idea .I currently have been looking at the Derksens portable buildings for a tiny house option for our lake property. Can you design a 18×60 Barndominium with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms?
I currently have a 24×35 cardinal garage and 24×46 cardinal rv carport and love them both! Excellent quality and value.

Hi Jeff! The Derksen cabins make great units for living cabins/barndominiums. Unfortunately they only go up to 16×50. We can do a metal garage like the Cardinal unites you have then convert one of those…but we can only go up to 16×50 on the cabin.
